That is one of my favourite episodes, for sure my favourite sports-related Simpsons episode, though the Bart and Lisa hockey episode is pretty good too.

Same here, there's a silver lining though, as I can't imagine this generation will ever get their Homer at the Bat. We were blessed by this lucky quirk of time .
