Saw it on some of the FB neo groups, the guy who runs Hard--Candy.com is wanting to "retire" i guess, and is looking for someone to take over ownership. I hope the site doesn't go down.

Dont know if he's selling the domain and info on it, or just handing the keys over. I would imagine he's selling.

No matter how I switch the words around in the title, it all comes down to sounding like something lithy would indeed be interested in.

I'm telling you, I'm only interested in American cabs, ok maybe a soft spot for the Leisure & Allied Industries lowboy cabs from Oceania (also wood), but that's mostly because of my exposure to @ttooddddyy and his 6 slots back in the day.

You want someone into hard-candy like butterscotch, maybe you're thinking of @NeoCverA?

I took a look at the website, frankly I had never heard of it or used it to my knowledge. For me it is too broad of scope. It is overrun by ads and nearly unusable. Gross. I wouldn't mind a website but more similar to HardMVS, and focused on the Neo Geo only.

But that brings me to the last question. What exactly would someone be buying? I can go right now with a website mirroring tool and grab everything on there, so the name? Seems silly.

I know a lot about candy cabs but have zero interest in them pretty much nowadays - or maintaining a site about them 🤷🏽‍♀️

@HornheaDD If he's still looking for someone to take over web hosting, I could do it. I've assumed the hosting of both jammarcade.net and world-of-arcades.net in the last two years to prevent them from shutting down entirely.

I dont know why I didn't get this tag sorry about that.

Honestly I don't know what state that situation is in. I havent seen any other posts about it on any of the facebook groups other than that day. I tend to scroll past them for the most part because its always some post from a "retrogaming enthusiast" youtube schlub that found a loose Fatal Fury 1 at goodwill for $20 and "adds it as his first Neo Geo game for his collection" with a video on how he hopes to get it graded to "see the value" :cautious:.

If nothing else, hit up the admin from there and see. I *think* its this guy - facebook profile for Pieter Dekker
