I have a RAP4 and RAP5 and both are very good sticks. The hyabusa sticks are amazing and the kuro buttons arn't bad either. They are a "tad" stiffer than the sanwa's but still very responsive. My only complaint is the hyabusa sticks only support square gates which I personally hate with a passion. However you can easily modify a octagonal gate from a JLF to use.

The TE2 fightsticks are trash. If you've never played with a Japanese style stick before I'd recommend trying something cheaper before jumping in whole hog. You can get a normal hori hrap 4 vx Kai for $120. Those have decent parts to start and are fully upgradeable if you want to put in Sanwa ect ect.

Edit
Also the information posted above is wrong. They do make Kowal Octo gates for the Hayabusa now. Also the buttons are stiffer because they have more rub to them on the plunger. After extended use they will squeek, then eventually wear in and be almost identical to Sanwa.

How is what I said wrong? What I said is "hyabusa sticks only support square gates" which is true considering Kowal is not Hori. Also I never gave an explination to why the buttons where "a tad siffer" only that they where. Which was more or less verified by your latter statement, which then contradicted the whole point of your edit by saying "almost identical to Sanwa" since "a tad" and "almost" are synonymous.

Kowal makes part for other sticks cheif. The Kowal is an octogate for the Hayabusa. Do your research before going at people...lol.

Your information was wrong.

Right, but Kowal is a brand not a octo gate specifically for the hayabusa. Its also 3rd party to Hori so my statement of "hyabusa sticks only support square gates" is still valid and true. Unlike the Sanwa JLF which supports multiple different types of games. I guess maybe I should have said "Officially"?

I'm still waiting to know how my information was wrong?

Good parts but they feel like they're made by Fisher Price. The buttons and stick in it are worth about $60 so don't make that the end all be all of your decision.

ya from the videos I have watched on the TE2 the case seem kinda cheap. but as someone who will never get to touch one until i buy one makes it hard to pick the right stick.

I heard the latch can go wonky...

Not so much the sanwa parts used, as much as the Madcatz design end...

I've got the Hrap V Kai...

Gutted it and chucked in a JLF and semitsu buttons.
