I have seen motherboards sell lose regularly for 75-100. Watch eBay sometimes you can find one even cheaper or bundled with a game for a decent price.

Whats with the recent demand for atomiswave?

From what I've seen most motherboards go fro around ~$100, depends on condition.

Really the motherboard is a drop in the bucket compared to the games. I wouldn't bother getting one unless you are ok with the boots. I only own one legit cart for the thing.
