Really getting into these old Allumer developed fighters and some of the other Banpresto stuff on the Seta hardware. Blandia is a shit game, but as an early fighter there's a lot of charm to how clunky it is. This Gundam joint is HOT FIYA though.

I'd probably agree with that; it just has more charm overall than zero 3 and better stage designs.

I dunno man, A3 is a power house, so much tech greatness, V-ISM, oh man. I do love SFZ2A a lot though and I feel like both games are must own if you're into SF.

If the custom combo had the properties of V-ism and SFZ2A had all the characters from 3upper, it could easily be the greatest fighting game ever.

I prefer the A2 recovery commands, throws and counters over A3's. Oh man, life.

Received a Samba de Amigo 2000 naomi cart today. Zero way to play it given how impossible it is to find parts for that game... but I guess I can say I own it, even if I'd so rather be playing it than having it sit in a drawer. >_>

I'm sure you could wire the DC maracas up to the Naomi. I've seen DC pads plugged into Naomi with adapters before.

Has someone been able to wire something up before? From my understanding, the Arcade maracas use IR positioning and JVS protocols and the game won't read from the maple bus, so the Dreamcast controllers won't work.

I like the use of the plexi mount for the sound board, very clean.

Thanks man! I got into the habit of mounting all my loose boards like this on a sheet of 1/4" plexi...kinda pricey though...I think the hardware cost me half as much as the board itself haha!

I too really like that use of plexi on the MK board. I have MK1, MK2, and NBA Jam that I should do that to as they all have that blasted sound board that goes no where. You said it was half the cost.. I really hope it won't cost $30-40 per board to do that to :( Does it get cheaper with multiples? :D

A cheaper, but definitely sturdy option would be to use some wood that's 1/4" to 5/16" thick. Not as pretty to look at if it's used on a supergun, but it's definitely a safe option. (You could even mount the sound board upside down then, if you wanted.)
