I've been thinking about getting the mini inferno. How do these compare to the 1/10th scale stuff?

I still have my old Tamiya one, fully working:

A couple of friends have off-road Kyosho ones that run on gas, the Inferno iirc and some other one.

I worked in the hobby industry many years in my younger days. The customers and people involved with any of the radio control hobbies really killed any enjoyment for me eventually... kind of like the arcade hobby... lol. That being said boats were by far the funnest form of rc to me, we did some silly stuff with those first generations of mini Z’s and they were a lot of fun to run around the store. Lots of good mini platforms out there. The tamiya M chassis was always my favorite, engineered to make you laugh. Especially when running them around with friends. Im a huge fag for most tamiya products.

I've never seen a community for these things outside of California, but i love everything about the mini.z.

All my RC is in the basement collecting dust. I was more offroad. I really like the SCT scene for awhile.

I had the Red monster beetle, I painted it perfectly and everything but I think my bro threw it away a few years ago when he moved.

No mini z content from me yet; just scooped a couple of old beaters to learn on. RWD, w/ the old 04 and 09 crystals.

I’ll post up pics when I get ‘em.

Today, I broke the old SideWinder out. I’ve had this since Xmas of ‘82!
