Lunar being remade for PSP; published by XSEED

I'm at Meribia in this and I don't know if I like the new songs and the voices or not. It's been too long since I've played the PS1 and SCD games.

Battles seem kind of slow, especially after being spoiled by DQ 4 & 5 on DS.

I'm finding it's tough to get used to the way the mazes and town maps are re-done.

I like how you play the 4 heroes in their final battle in the beginning of the game.

The demo save is supposed to unlock something, but I'm not sure what it is.

Games aren't as collectible as they used to be.

I doubt many DS or PSP games will be collectible.

If you don't see a title getting recalled or otherwise becomes unavailable in a short time, you probably haven't spot anything keepers yet.

Some more impressions 6 hours in:

-Game has some broken elements. You pretty much don't have to worry about running out of MP for Luna and other characters, as her super recharges hp and mp once she's built her meter up.
-Battles give you way too much silver to buy stuff.
-Enemies visable on screen is kind of pointless as you don't fast enough to avoid them and you have to fight all of them.

Still playing and am struggling on the lost woods. I hate it when they put places like that in games.

I'm still not sure if I like the new voices, I don't hate them, I'm used to the PSX version though. Other than that the game seems easy enough and looks very pretty. Has anyone checked it out on the TV with the component cables?

Lunar SSS is the only RPG I have enjoyed from beggining to end.
