What ever happened to Black Finger Jet ?
lol. I was going to bump that old thread to ask the same two weeks ago. Until I saw the last time it was posted in was me bumping and asking. Who knows, man. Might be they were unsatisfied with what they made and just stopped working on it.

Once again:
Just imagine for one moment, SNK would program a totally new Metal Slug but with OG Neo Geo Software and release it 1 month earlier on AES and AES+ before all other (online-)plattforms (steam, ps4, switch). Imagine what this would mean for all upcoming AES+ sales and the retro NG market in general!!

This would be a brilliant marketing move for SNK !

shut the fuck up

no one assumes that weird shit.

Nothing weird about assuming Metal Slug would be the next NEO•GEO franchise to receive a collection and reboot.

Doesn't make sense to me to reboot/remake MS1 if it's just going to be the same Neo-Geo graphics, especially one you can play on the AES/AES+.

Reboots are all about starting from scratch with a newer, more modern take on a thing.

I'm sure it'll still be 2D (hopefully), but maybe something more in line with KOF 13 type resolution and detail?

Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

What if it‘s a prequel to MS1?

If they go for higher resolution, then a AES Version is out of the game. In the last couple of years there was a tendency for more (graphically) basic games with all those independent publishers. This might be a change for SNK to go back to autenthic 16-Bit graphics for once!
