Which is your favorite Metal Slug sequel? For me, the most balanced is 3, although I really like X because of the slowdown fix and some items that weren't in 2.

Metal Slug 3 is a thumping package of spunk.

1 is relatively easy to 1cc, which is a lot of fun.
2 is the next easiest to 1cc, due to the slowdown.
X and 3 are also great.
4 was good, but not as good as the first four Slug games.
5 didn't feel like a Slug game, somehow. The gameplay was different from earlier games- it felt like just another platformer.
6 was kind of boring.
I haven't played 7 and XX. Online reviews for these games are mixed. XX is updated version of 7.

I might like Metal Slug 1 far more over all the other Neo Geo entries, but that's just my opinion.
