I have this MV1B which i assumed had a bad NEO-BUF because it could not read any games (crosshatch screen when powered on).
I ordered some NEO BUF replacement chips from Furrtek and replaced the stock one on the upper board.
Unfortunately that did not solve the problem. I checked for continuity and I soldered it perfectly fine.
So what else can cause this problem other than a faulty NEO BUF? A bad LS45 or 74hc273? Can a bad NEo Zmc cause this too?
I don't see any cut traces on the upper board and the lower board is good, I tested it on another known working mv1b.
