The two NBA Finals teams from last year both got dumped out today. Mavs wanted it more and proved it. (fact: Mavs have the best record in the NBA since Jan 1).

So we got Dallas and Golden State in the west and Boston and Miami in the east. This should be a good pair of conference finals series.

Oofs all around. That Phoenix game was a slow-motion trainwreck. Big win for all of the CP3 haters out there.

Didn’t expect the go down that bad. But Again doncic was playing with a purposed and knock down his first 5 shots it gave everyone around him huge confidence , CP3 and booker on the other hand caved to the pressure And you can see it spreads that Suns are nervous missing easy shot and ball rims out And hesitated on easy baskets .
The suns got the luka special for game 7 !!
Looking at the next round mavs and warriors . Should be a shoot out as both team lacking on the centre so should be high scoring .

I'm disgusted and saddened beyond words.

The Mavs didn't win this series. The Suns lost it. They played crappy in every road game. Game 7 was an absolute disgrace. Every bit of skill, heart, and fire was completely gone. Historically awful.

So, per Suns tradition, they broke our hearts as intensily as possible.

Welp, I feel a lot better about the way the Jazz went out now.

Up 2-0 in CP3's world is the same as down 0-3.
This goes beyond Chris Paul though, he was just the latest.

"The Phoenix Suns Are the Only Team in NBA History to Lose Back to Back 2-0 Playoff Series Leads

Not only were the Phoenix Suns the only team to do this once. They are the only team in NBA history to do this twice.
1994: PHX 2-0 lead vs. Houston (4-3 HOU) Western Conference Semis
1995: PHX 2-0 lead vs. Houston (4-3 HOU) Western Conference Semis
2021: PHX 2-0 lead vs. Milwaukee (4-2 MIL) NBA Finals
2022: PHX 2-0 lead vs. Dallas (4-3 DAL) Western Conference Semis"

Yup, that looks about Suns.

I was 13/14 back when they lost to Houston twice in a row in the semis. I just couldn't believe it.

They did, but the Suns had Barkley, Johnson, Majarle, Ainge, and Ceballos. either in their primes or not to far away from it.

C'mon Houston had Hakeem in his prime but the 94 finals are also still hunting me.
They did but those Suns squads weren’t a bunch of bums either. You don’t get up 2-0 on those Rockets twice without having skills

I didn't say they had no skills or anything. Hakeem was the best 90s center when centers were still a thing. 2 times finals MVP when MJ played baseball. Defensively he was the force.

No shame losing to Hakeem's rockets. His footwork was incredible and had Jordan didn't take that hiatus, they would have given the Bulls serious trouble and likely beat them at least once.

In the final 9:30 of the 4th, the Warriors scored on all but three possessions:
-Draymond Green missed 3 pointer
-Steph Curry turnover
-final possession shot clock violation

Mavericks defense is next level terrible.

Mavericks are probably fucked. They'll probably win one at home, but that's probably it.

Luka made it to the conference finals (and beat a #1 seed) in his 4th season. Mavs fans should be thrilled.

There's a limit to how far he can go unless he improves his shot selection and defense vastly, though. At 23 there's no reason he can't, but he has to actually do it. Because half the time he looks like JR Smith out there.

Draymond is better when he take a few shots , at lease it will keep his man on him rather then backing off to help on D , Championship will stay in the east this year , unless some Injury strikes Boston, Miami Lowry and tucker are damage .
