Timberpups were inspired by the Suns vs Mavericks game 7 a few years back.

Best team clearly won. Congrats to the Thunder, you did what prime Durant and Westbrook couldn't.

Prime Durant and Westbrook made the finals against the Heat though

Jalen is back. He seemed very frustrated during the first games. There is hope that it isn't too late.

Can’t win with running your starter for 40+ minutes especially when it’s a close game .

Pacers sealed the deal. Finals against the Thunder kick off on Thursday. Should be a great series!

Deepest playoff run in 25 years with the same outcome. Shouldn't be disappointed.

Maybe LeBron should hire Thibs. Lakers might be able to survive the first round next season.

I can't see Thibs ever being able to coach in an environment where LeFaggit exists. That motherfucker leaves the court before games are over, flops like a Hollywood bomb, and most definitely imposes his will on everyone around him. Unless Thibs has changed since his days coaching the Bulls and T-Wolves. But I doubt he has. He still only plays 7 men deep in the playoffs because he expects his star players to deliver when it matters.

The NBA is such a weird and fucked up league when it comes to coaching.

It's the only one where you can get your team to it's first Conference Finals in 25 years, while beating last year's "unbeatable" champions, and get rewarded with being fired.

Or have your team win it's franchise's first championship, get fairly deep into the playoffs twice after with one of the best players in the league, and then get fired.

Hell, just with the Suns, get Coach of the Year two years in a row after taking your team to the Finals and then setting a best ever season record for your team, and then get fired the next year because your owner fucked the team up beyond your control. Then get and fire a Championship coach after one year not just once, but twice back to back.

I'm assuming Popovich and Spoelstra had some kind of crazy blackmail on important people to stay as long as they have.

Suns trade Durant to Rockets

The Phoenix Suns traded Durant to the Houston Rockets, in exchange for Jalen Green and Dillon Brooks. Phoenix also received the No. 10 pick in the 2025 draft and five second-round picks as part of the trade.

The deal will not officially go through until July 6, per ESPN's Bobby Marks, due to a restriction in Green's rookie extension, which he signed last October. The second-round picks in the trade will stretch to 2032, per NBA insider Jake Fischer.

Damn they could’ve try to squeeze a few more pick swaps . Suns are stays put at the bottom, rockets are in win now mode durant it an upgrade for green is he can stay healthy …rocket can afford to sit KD out more and save him for playoffs.

I think Halliburton just have Achilles tendon snaps. …. Shitty deal in the last game of the season .

The Phoenix Suns are now spending 101% of their cap space on 4 shooting guards.

Projected cap space for 2026 is 154.6 million. These 4 contracts total 157 million.
  1. Bradley Beal: 53.66 million
  2. Devin Booker: 53.14 million
  3. Jalen Green: 33.33 million
  4. Grayson Allen: 16.87 million

My team is absolutely absurd....

I heard they're keeping Green too. But, on the plus side, fans on both teams are saying their team got fleeced, so I guess it must have been a decent trade.

Beal has got to fucking go, somehow, some way. We need a Paul/Nash floor general style PG and a PF that's worth a damn now that Durant is gone.

BTW, congrats to the OKC Thunder on their first ring!

Nugs are crushing it so far this offseason.

Traded Michael Porter and a 1st for Cam Johnson (17M per year in cap savings for a better player)
Signed Bruce Brown to a veteran minimum contract
Traded the ghost of Dario Saric for Jonas Valanciunas

Still have two open roster spots to replace Westbrook and Cancar

Lucky you for getting Cam Johnson. Wish he'd come back home to Phoenix, but I hope he thrives there instead of languishing on the Nets.

The NBA has changed a rule because of Jokic hitting all those full court heaves last season.

To encourage more people to actually attempt those shots, heaves (defined as any shot taken from 36 feet or farther with 3 seconds or fewer left in a quarter) are now their own category separate from normal 3 point percentages. So guys like Durant that are worried about their 3 point efficiency can now attempt these shots without taking a hit if they miss them.
