It happened on Atari+. In fact Atari wound up hiring one of the top homebrew developers for that purpose. There's also another what if scenario that came to my mind: licensing unreleased Neo Geo games like Hebereke Pair Pair Wars, or even homebrew games like those by NGDEV. How possible is that scenario?
One thing for sure - an increase of AES owners and general enthusiasm for physical systems and carts can only increase the chances of seeing new releases as well as more official re-releases.There's also another what if scenario that came to my mind: licensing unreleased Neo Geo games like Hebereke Pair Pair Wars, or even homebrew games like those by NGDEV. if it's a worthwhile game and doesnt come with insane requirements from the goobdevs I don't see why not. No ng:dev because I don't see a third party wanting to bother with their custom cart hardware they themselves can't produce fast enoughThere's also another what if scenario that came to my mind: licensing unreleased Neo Geo games like Hebereke Pair Pair Wars, or even homebrew games like those by NGDEV. I was wondering this exact thing but am thinking not going to happen but who knowsThink the new carts will work on original systems?
I still have my MVS adapter.
$50 shipped?OK, put my pre-order in for Ultimate Edition, and my spot in line is for sale for $15,000, 14 for fellow Bigtymers
If they're going to re-release the AES, they could use a faster clock speed 68000 for it, to avoid the slowdown that some games have (shooters, Metal Slug 2, Shock Troopers 2, etc).
