I ordered the console at 10:38 am from Plaion's US site, and then a memory card at 12:02 pm. In that 1 hour and 24 minutes the two order numbers have a difference of 513. One is an even number and the other is odd, so it looks like it means they had 513 orders during that time.

Pretty sure their listings are already up, and they sold out of their allotted preorders. (You have to dig for them because they're sold out.)

Okay. lol. I ordered the system. Then I double-goobed when I realized later I'm not getting a memory card, and the memory card is new, so I want to check it out.
At first I was regretting not ordering them together, and then I was like, at least this way one item can't delay the other. I do really want to be one of the people to get their hands on this and put it through it's paces.
This thread is full of serious goobing on white consoles and $1,000 packs with 10 games. Lots of folks are going full goob.
I should probably cancel the memory card order. They have them on Amazon.

I agree this thread needs to be in best of someday. Not now though... its a perfect capsule in time from people making fun of SNK and not taking the thread seriously to 15 pages of this being announced and everyone buying this ugly ass white AES in a frenzy and being excited about anything neo again.
if this thing sucks this thread is going to be hilarious in hindsight lol

I have a vid for tomorrow going over ASICs (and other clarifications) and explaining to people "no they arent spinning up fabs to produce NEW silicon from SNK designs. No fab could even handle that process in 2026"...and the designs have to come from somewhere...and where oh where would you get new designs for compatible chips to produce ASICs from in 2026...

Trying to order from Plaion now. It keeps saying they can't ship to my address (I'm in the US, and not in some bumfuck area). Is this happening to anyone else? Did I fuck up and wait too long?

I had started adding the games I wanted on Amazon along with a control pad and the memory card and noticed I was over $1000 with just that, so I opted for the 1k bundle to get everything (even if I dont care about Over Top)
