Ew Amazon, they just add a label to the actual box and ship it that way. Wouldn’t surprise me if that was the case, which is why I ordered from plaion directly. Either way they claim a 60 day return window.

I'd love to understand what's so complicated in their production process that it literally takes them years to produce carts.
Anyway. Who in their right mind is going to pay 800 euros for NGDEV shit, when you can now buy official resissue games for 80 euro?
Not that their games were worth pursuing prior to the Neo+ news anyway.

Interesting. Looking forward to learn more about the internals and if they do live up to the 1:1 claims.
I don't expect literally a 68000 and original chips fabricated just like they were in the 90's, but a modern recreation that performs truly accurately is expected.
We will see.

are you going to bring in new info or are you going to be the nth person online who thinks no one else understands the "ASIC" is going to be based off someone's FPGA designI have a vid for tomorrow going over ASICs (and other clarifications) and explaining to people "no they arent spinning up fabs to produce NEW silicon from SNK designs. No fab could even handle that process in 2026"...and the designs have to come from somewhere...and where oh where would you get new designs for compatible chips to produce ASICs from in 2026...

Yeah but the games are £70 and Console is £170. It‘s super cheap compared to what it was in the 90s, reverse inflation.
I am expecting a mid product not an excellent product.

Look it’s going to be made to a price so no I’m not expecting a miracle. Better than Neo Geo X would do me fine.

No doubt. But, and I know there have been some firmware complaints in the past, if the build quality is at least as good as Analogue stuff, then I will be very happy.
I can retire my OG AES, and just use the + system for my homecart fix.

I did my due diligence and looked up a lot of Atari 2600 + teardown videos and saw a lot of positivity towards it, I’m hoping they deliver, clearly they learned their lesson in making it full sized versus making it a bit smaller.
But plastic in general has been shit recently, doesn’t matter what hobby we get into, it’s all the same, but still, as long as it not Neo geo x quality I’m good.

I'm seeing a lot of people that have never played any Neo Geo titles in general pre-order like no tomorrow. To each their own I guess, they are free to do whatever they want with their money but unless you really like fighters and arcade type games in general I don't think you will like what you get out of a Neo Geo system.
But then again who am I kidding, most people will keep this sealed and try to resell it some years down the line...

Yeah I’m thinking my AES+ will live in the living room permanently with Big Tournament Golf in it for socialising.
I’ve yet to find a casual gamer that doesn’t like that game (so long as your playing against other people of a similar skill level).
That lovely boxed AES you sold me a couple of years back (thank you) will become a shelf queen.
