The plus is rumored to have a 12V adjusting regulator.

There is also a rumor that they took the unibios and programmed it to their liking without crediting.

The HDMI output has variable scanline filters. Also a rumor.

So if anything, if these are true, that means everything on the board itself is all SMT's and SOCs and ceramic or solid state caps.

Also, that makes me wonder then that modchips for this thing might come out, depending on how it plays when it releases.

What's the source of the rumor regarding the UniBIOS theft? Obviously, none of us have seen the BIOS screen yet.

Hope Raz is doing alright. He's been MIA here for almost a year.

I saw it on twitter where some french guys have been bombarding the SNK and Plaion websites for answers. SNK turned off dm's and the other has a long queue. Some answers got out through discord. Now, its not for sure though. But it seems to imply some kind of cheat and jukebox function is going to appear. I mean since I said earlier its based on the mister core, then it might not need unibios. It would just use the same cheat technology you can use on the mister core. So that would avoid having to use Raz's unibios proper.

we use Unibios on MiSTer. Its not really required but its basically "essential reading"
