One thing’s for sure this is definitely going to push up the price of stuff like SS2, FFS, AOF2 etc. Great games that have remained somewhat low cost (at least for the Japanese versions)
I agree with this I just hope that this company decides to actually keep up with the demand I actually decided to look into it a little bit more a $250 starting point for a console is actually acceptable in my eyes.

People's expectations are getting a little out of control if they are expecting Naomi games to get "demade" and ported to Neo Geo. Not sure how you would control something like CvS2 with 4 buttons either, since I heard that game mentioned also

I have never seen this much commotion happening around the NG since the 90ies.
As an old geezer, naturally first off I felt bad about it, but at the moment, I kind of start to see the chances coming along with this.

I just want the AES pink and blue travel bags to be added to the accessories who’s with me? Oh never mind I found this dirty beat up one on the NeoStore for nearly $600 Wonderful.

It just shows the fucktards that run those Facebook groups (or run the bots which run those groups) have no idea what they are on about. Obviously they got confused with SVC Chaos

It's a bit strange that they're presenting the white edition with a white cart. It surely looks good in the press release (well, looks good to those who like the white version), but does that mean that every single game will have two different shells you can choose? Sounds a bit too cumbersome from a production and storage standoint... I'm kinda calling bullshit on that white cart.

My bad, I didn't check what's included with the limited edition - it's indeed a limited edition all-white Metal Slug. Meh.

Does anyone know if the AES+ can play games in modes for different regions/languages, or play in MVS/arcade or turn the blood & violence on or off, or other DIP settings?
Maybe those are those only features it doesn't have, that an original AES with a Unibios does.

And, if it has composite output, the RGB picture quality (at least, from a SCART cable) wouldn't match that of a CMVS or cab, but HDMI can do pure RGB. So if you do get an AES+, there might still be some good reasons to keep your AES, CMVS or cab.

It was confirmed that the console will feature DIP switches "available on one side" (maybe not those exact words) to configure region, language and other settings.
I assume it's either Unibios or something equivalent being implemented.
