But in seriousness, checking the Plaion website it doesn’t look like they ever released updates for their past products. I don’t own any of those and updates might be in another portion of their website that I couldn’t find, buy yea gives you an idea.
One of my Plaion 7800 games has a sticker right on the outside of the packaging saying your + console may need an update to play it.

Firmware updates on the AES+ for the bios, HDMI and the bluetooth might be nice.

It may be possible that the BIOS is reprogrammable thru the USB port for example. Or maybe some chips will be socketed for easy replacement etc.

Or, hopefully they get it right from day one and all is good.

So much to learn yet, but so far it's looking really nice.

Completely missed that by looking around their website. But for example the 7800 gets updated via…and aux usb port? Wi-Fi?

I don’t think the rear AES+ usb-c port can be used for that scope has it powers the console

If it's powered by 5v, it may be possible the USB port can both receive power and send/receive data when plugged into a PC USB port, for example.

Pure speculation and hopeful thinking on my part, but we will see!

You're phone charges and can send/receive data from the same port...

Yes yes I know that, I just thought was not super practical to connect a laptop to the console every time there is an incoming update.

Perhaps on other products there were other methods that didn’t involve doing that. Hence asking.

But yes not a big deal after all.

EDIT: Re-reading what I stated earlier yes, it sounds pretty stupid. I admit that ahahah

You probably wouldn't have to do that.
You could put the update on the root of a thumb drive, connect it with an otg cable then just boot it without a cartridge inserted.

Edit
Wait, You couldn't quite do it that way.
You would need a hub and be able to power it too.
Derp.

Yes indeed, re-thinking about this again, it’s a non problem really in the end.

Proof this fag never tried to be part of the community.
I mean, you goys let me in here.
What happened? I don't remember him much but last time I had Neo-Geo and briefly frequented Neo-Geo he seemed to be everywhere all the time. He doesn't seem to be a member any more.
