If they keep 'em at $90/pop, no worries
Haven't you seen the people that said that 90$ is too much for them? These are the broke collectors who want the real thing and will settle for Everdrives and the likes.

I don't do bootlegs/repro carts or emulation so I don't know how popular those things are among collectors/gamers.

Impressive 68K hacks, but what we really want is the games I listed, which belong on the Neo Geo.
Normies aren’t going to pay $90 for those. If Plaion can make small 50/100 piece orders then maybe it could happen. The fact these are flash might make smaller order sizes feasible, but that might be a good question for the Plaion Mohawk guy next time he makes a video.

I really hope you're wrong. Initially the extra course in BTG had a lot of buzz, and I hope more exclusive new content could do the same. One new game in a wave could generate a lot of extra hype for the whole wave, even if not that many buy it.

Headline could be like "Plaion announces next round of AES+ games, including one new never before seen game" and that extra cherry on top would generate extra hype in the news cycle.

A toggle switch on the cart for OEM or hit-box fixed SamSho 3 would be ace.

Time for a reaction video to this video!!
"$20? Man, that's a ripoff! If I was the one reproducing these games, I'd sell them for $10!"

Key point.

It looks like utter crap.

The question is, if inserts are double side printed, how are they gonna manage with the cartridge label and manual? No bueno.

Are we gonna end with multiple stickers on cartridges again?

The fact that we still haven’t seen the guts of any cartridge speaks really bad.
The fact a manual is included is really cool to me. I am mostly curious of the cart weight.

The same people complaining about the price of AES+ games are the same morons that buy shitty AAA titles for $60 then tack on $200+ in DLC.

First NEW TITLES to come to AES+
- TOAPLAN -
Zero Wing (no surprise here with @h0ffman joining Plaion in January and went silent on this project in December)
Snow Bros - Zero Wing plaion homie has been live streaming development of this title.

Split titles or a combo-loco 2-in 1 cart? eh who knows but this shit is coming.
Well, this isn't as far fetched as it sounds as Plaion is owned by Embracer, and Embracer owns Tatsujin who owns the rights to the Toaplan library.

Who knows, maybe they'll use the technique that Fullset used with Project Neon for screen rotation and we'll get Neo releases of Dogyuun, Tiger Heli, Flying Shark etc.

Good list. Now, below is my list, along with my reasoning for each:

Block Paradise - This hasn't been released before.
Fun Fun Brothers - This hasn't been released before.
Dunk Star - This hasn't been released before.
Mystic Wand - This hasn't been released before.
Last Odyssey - This hasn't been released before.
Eye of Typhoon - This hasn't been released before.
Magic Master/Mahou Juku - This hasn't been released before.
Crystal Legacy/Chicago - This hasn't been released before.
Hebereke - This hasn't been released before.
Warlocks of the Fates - This hasn't been released before.
Wtf are you huffing?

All those games are total crap. There was a reason they weren't released - they're garbage. Even the developers realized this.

Jfc, may as well start seriously cheerleading for a release of Fight Fever or Diggerman.

No, they just weren't economically viable in arcades. The most likely reason all or most of them weren't released is because they failed their location test. Same situation with Ironclad. It doesn't mean that fans today won't find them fun at home.

I had a burned copy of ironclad.
I kinda liked it.

Lol, the reason they were not economically viable is that they were unplayable trash. If they were no fun to play in the arcade, I fail to see how they would fair better at home, when OG Neo Geo games were arcade games - none were ever intended for the home market, other than, perhaps, a few of the CD exclusives.

The problem with Toaplan ports is Tate being kinda gay to do at home unless you have a specific setup for gaming that allows you to leave a monitor sideways from time to time. I don’t think plaion is targeting this public.

I think some games are decent but let’s be real, Dunk Star, Fun Bros? You have to admit to those being shite at least, no matter how cool it would be to see it finally available.
