One of my favorite Toaplan titles by far. I'd seriously bust a nut if this got an official port to the Neo.
Mine also i had pcb of it few years ago. I wouldn't mind Dogyuun also. It's hard as balls I really enjoy it.

Lol, the reason they were not economically viable is that they were unplayable trash. If they were no fun to play in the arcade, I fail to see how they would fair better at home, when OG Neo Geo games were arcade games - none were ever intended for the home market, other than, perhaps, a few of the CD exclusives.
Us "collectards" will buy it regardless, so what's your point? lol

I think some games are decent but let’s be real, Dunk Star, Fun Bros? You have to admit to those being shite at least, no matter how cool it would be to see it finally available.
You know I have little interest in 10 games that are already out. So if I can have it for historic and preservation purposes, and the rest of the goobs can have their shelf candy, there's no harm.

Fun Fun Bros and Block Paradise look good, but simple to me. Dunk Star looks bad, but still interesting to me.

By the same token, does anyone need Metal Slug 1 released again? It's already available on practically every platform. So if your argument is about practicality, that part is already out the window.

Haven't you got something to get out of storage this weekend? Your sanity, perhaps?
I don't have storage. Where are your 10 re-released games going? Storage?

I don't even want the physical cartridge of the unreleased protos necessarily. Just the rom data available to all.

The problem with Toaplan ports is Tate being kinda gay to do at home unless you have a specific setup for gaming that allows you to leave a monitor sideways from time to time. I don’t think plaion is targeting this public.

Tate on a CRT is poo but on a modern screen it's not.
Lots of mounts are available that allows vertical rotation.

They'd be cool to see as a curiosity, but on what planet did either of these games "look good"?

Block Paradise and Fun Fun Bros does look like a simple fun puzzle game, and the island paradise and Blues Brothers themes are both fun.

Dunk Star does have twice the animation of the other 16-bit Aicom basketball games, but it does look like shit. I'm interested like I'm interested in a bad movie.

Buying the same 10 games again is basic boring.

Wtf are you huffing?

All those games are total crap. There was a reason they weren't released - they're garbage. Even the developers realized this.

Jfc, may as well start seriously cheerleading for a release of Fight Fever or Diggerman.
Agree here, maybe with the exception of Warlocks of the Fates?

No, they just weren't economically viable in arcades. The most likely reason all or most of them weren't released is because they failed their location test. Same situation with Ironclad. It doesn't mean that fans today won't find them fun at home.
It's pretty obvious they couldn't survive an arcade environment just from a quick glance, but Sun Shine and especially Last Odyssey look like a ton of fun. Dunk Star, Crystal Legacy, and Warlocks are probably the only 3 I wouldn't want to try out for at least a few credits, honestly.
