Heh, kind of offtopic but anyone notice how downbeat the endings for most of SNK's older arcade games are? SAR: Search and Rescue, NAM'75, Cyber-Lip, Super Spy, they all have very atypical not happy endings.

It's not a Neo Geo game, it's one of "SNK's older arcade games." ;)

Great game if you never played/heard of it before. It uses the rotational joystick like Ikari Warrriors/etc. and is basically a newer, linear version of Alien Syndrome. Absurd level of gore (default bad guys explode and collapse into pieces in glorious SNK 2D animation) and good difficulty as well.

Now that the threads are combined, that post is completely out of context. Oh well, most my posts are anyway.

Ben Herman Interview:
http://news.spong.com/article/11950

There's a lot of his usual "I'm not sure, but it would be nice" banter. But it definetely seems like it's not going to be Japan only.

Looking at it carefully, he says that Microsoft has been very selective for their XBLA titles which probably explains lack of support, and that there'll be no exlusive titles between Virtual console and the PS Store. And just as I thought the reason why they like the Wii VC is because they don't need to make their old games pass as Hi-Def content.

Cyber Lip's ending owned. I can't beat Nam 1975. :emb:

I am more excited for this than I even thought I would be back when I was imagining if it would happen. I can't wait.

Does this mean the Wii deserves its own Forum on NG now?
