You just never know which Argos team is showing up, the one that beat the Bombers or the one that gets absolutely leveled against the Ti-cats.
Doesn't that drive you crazy? How a team can play so great one game and totally blow it in another.

Bombers won the Labor Day Classic in Saskatchewan. They had lost this rivalry game 14 of the previous 15 seasons.

Next week is the return game, the Banjo Bowl over in Winnipeg. The Bombers usually win that one. The Bombers defense is allowing only 13.4 PPG.

Oh yeah, it's just like Columbus Blue Jackets this past season. They play like utter crap against the Detroit Red Wings, but then they nearly always have the Tampa Bay Lightning's number. They play up against great teams, but play down to bad teams.

Bombers won again, 33-9 in the Banjo Bowl.

That makes them 5-1 on the year, best record in the league. They've allowed a total of 3 points in fourth quarters this season. They've still only lost 1 game since they traded for Collaros and made him the starter towards the end of the regular season last year. Rolled through the playoffs, won the title, won 5/6 this year.

Bombers are 8.5 point favorites @ Edmonton this weekend. That's a huge spread for a road game in a 9 team league.

For more super niche sports, KHL now has two games per week on ESPN+. I already watched a couple of Salavat Yulaev Ufa's games and the Dynamo Moscow-CSKA Moscow game. Since there's nobody to spoil the games for me I just watch a 20 minute period every night and by the end of the week I've watched the two games ESPN+ has.

Will I still be watching as much KHL when NHL starts up again tomorrow? No idea. But it is nice being able to watch hockey games that count.

The Bombers are fucking ridiculous. Up to 8-1 on the year.

Against Edmonton they missed three field goals and an extra point and threw an interception into the end zone on 2nd and goal from the 1, and still won 30-3.

They have still only given up a total of 6 points, 2 field goals, in fourth quarters of games this year. They have given up 2 passing TDs on the season, and they have only allowed more than 9 points in 3 of 9 games.

9-1 for the Bombers.

Had another missed FG and another kickoff out of bounds this week, still won 26-16. Still only given up 6 fourth quarter points.

Trade deadline is this week. I would legitimately trade a first round draft pick for a league average kicker right now. That is legitimately the only weakness this team has.

They're 13-1 including the playoff and title run since they traded for current starting QB Zach Collaros at the deadline last season. They need to make another trade this year to win another title.

Hell yes. Bombers got an 87% career kicker and it only cost them a fourth round pick.

The only thing that could derail them now is injuries. I've been watching the CFL since the 90s and this Bombers squad is the best CFL team I've ever seen.

Winnipeg Blue Bombers heading back to the Grey Cup to defend their title.

Managed to pull out a win in the West Final today despite 3 picks, 2 fumbles, and a botched punt in the first half. Held on for a 21-17 win.

Why is the CFL still playing?

Isn't the championship usually Thanksgiving (US) weekend?

Start of the season was delayed due to COVID. Probably something to do with getting American players back and forth across the border.

They ended up only playing a 12 game regular season instead of 14 but the start date was still pushed back too far.
