Perhaps u could sell it (and get a Samsung QD-OLED second-hand)? QD-OLEDs are even better picture quality than normal OLEDs.
LG C series is the best value, IMO. I want great PQ, but I'm not a crazy person. Got a decent deal on the C2 as it's been outdone by the C3 especially in terms of brightness.

Lol what. Shut the fuck up
I'm not sure what you mean- QD-OLEDs are generally acknowledged to have better PQ than any other of TV (OLED, LCD)- it's not just my opinion. And they have better brightness than most normal OLEDs.

LCDs have more brightness than OLEDs, but that's not the only factor in PQ. Colour accuracy is also important. And you can get a 77" QD-OLED, which is almost as big as 83".

Ive mostly formulated my own plan for this thing, but long story short it came home with me today for testing. This will be my first tube amp if i keep it. I have repaired 1940’s AM radios, and i see nothing in this (fully working) 1960’s amp that intimidates me in the slightest. If anyone has anecdotes or anything they want to warn me about please do. The sound quality of this thing is phenomenal. It gets hot enough to fry an egg though, so i am already looking at spacing the turntable higher above it with a butchers block and riser feet. The only drawback to this from our current amp (which we bought 6 months ago and is already being repaired because the bluetooth died in it) is that i will need to find a solution of adding a bluetooth dongle to an aux port on it.
Please anyone who may be familiar with any of this weigh in. I have until Saturday to commit to purchasing.
Thanks!IMG_1304.jpeg

This is almost almost as stupid as the GregN quote in my sig.

Well, perhaps it would have been better if I'd said that a 77" TV can be as good, or better, than a 83" TV.

And (to some extent) you can make it (effectively) a bigger screen, in terms of what you see, by sitting closer to it.

I decided not to keep the Scott tube amp due to it having selenium rectifiers… then i found this for sale in Maryland. It arrived today and absolutely kicks fuckin tits!!!!! Got it from a man who has had it since 1978. Last serviced 4 years ago, rated 30 watts per channel but tested 42. Thing is beautiful and sounds great!!! 😊
Case took some corner damage in shipping but im hoping we can fix it with some wood glue and a strap.

I honestly wouldn’t let that thing anywhere near my records.

Should be easy to flip though.
