My first CMVS is Finished:) Im very pleased with the end result:)
hot!

Good work atro & aha. I'm thinking of painting my MV2F black as well - did you guys do it yourself or did you have it done? I heard some car repair shops are down to professionally paint&seal the odd metal part on the side, so I might try to find one ;)

Can't remember if I've posted here before but might as well anyway lol.

Here's my custom Atari 5200 CMVS. Yea, it's HUGE and fit's everything so nicely, but I'm considering rebuilding this into a much smaller case. Ever since moving into my new apartment from my parents house, there's less space to put things (of course) :\

But in the meantime, here's my masterpiece lol

Want to thank those who chimed in in my tech support thread. CMVS turned out well (the pics below, plus two more). Here it is being unboxed and tested. Already sent along what should be a fix for capturing with the Framemeister, so we might see some proper MVS capture in the coming days. Special thanks to NeoTurfMasta for all the help he's been!

damn, that looks so pro... James is a real artist in my book.

Absolutely. This design is easily my current favorite in build and functionality. Nicely done, James :)
Make sure to show that CMVS some love, Gamefan!

This plexi cut is amazing !!! I'm digging it a lot!
That would be awesome with a high-gloss red plexi and a SNK MVS laser engraving
Thank you. I rather like the "clean" look it has now, I enjoy looking at PCBs :glee:
But you could experiment for your own 1FS, check out what lions3 does... awesome stuff. A rather old post of his gave me the idea with the top plexi in the first place btw.

As far as plexies go: this here is way cooler for a CMVS, I think.

Looks real nice! I also like the look of exposed PCBs and wiring. Gives it an almost industrial look to it.

This is my MVS with Supergun Mak Strike 3, wood base is temporary, until I reach the transparent plexi.

Here is mine. Bought off Ebay last month. came with q 161-1 cart, PS! controller converter, and a 3rd party snes controller. I took the 3rd party snes controller apart and connected the wires to a Madcatz TE2 stick that I got used and upgraded the parts on. its just a different feeling playing on actual Hardware for some reason. looking forward to getting a few real carts that are not on the multi carts.

Yes its from JNX. well I probably paid a little more than I should, but total with shipping was $415 +$18 shipping. that was for the system, scart cable, PS1 controller adapter, 3rd party SNES controller, and the 161 in 1.

Im not sure how much they go for, but this was one of the cheaper priced cmvs's I found. I also liked the small form factor. similar units with component were $500+ and came with nothing.

My Neo Geo systems minus the NeoCD(in storage). The smaller stick is a Guilty Gear shell with Sanwa buttons and a JLF stick with an octogate. The larger stick is an MLG shell with Happ Suzo button and a Hori Hayabusa stick modded with omron levered switches and an octogate. Nothing fancy but I enjoy it.
