I've got an SSVP repro on my shelf. I don't need it, but at least that one makes sense. Neo Geo was the target system, and there's history there.

Recent fan ports of old Sega games? A flash cart is good enough for that. There's no need to bring plastic and PCB's into this.
I don't have an MVS flash cart. I'm fine w/gittin an MVS cart that was made for Golden Axe & Shinobi. Plus it's cheaper gittin em like that than it is to git an MVS flash cart that I don't need

There are so many things gittin made right now like the KOF94 Team Edit hack. How many repros will you buy before it adds up to the cost of the flash cart? They're gittin to be an essential tool these days.

The Valis CD soundtracks are so killer.

I pop the games in the car stereo all the time (be sure to skip track one or your speaker’s shit *will* get pushed in).

It actually defaults to four across.

You can also set it for pad layout

Or if you're one of... those people... SF style

The man wants an original Neo Geo controller from back in the day. He already got 6 likes on it. Leave him be.

I've got one of these from YAJ, but it has cigarette or chemical burns all over the top.

How do they compare to the originals? Always wanted to try one but will have to test it on a laptop

I’ve spent $40, sillier ways than this.
Shinobi is en route.

Aight, some thoughts.

Pros:
-Both Shinobi and Golden Axe run perfecto. At least, to my old eyes and ears.
-carts are hella clean, and the gold warning sticker is a nice touch
-price: cheap as chips, via alibaba…as of last week. Now, w/ tariffs in full effect-good luck

Cons:
-Mr. Kola, the guy that screwed over @skate and violated his trust and home…is thanked in the splash screens for both of these games

-in my 4 slot, with a mix of 2 SNK carts and these two, or just these two by themselves…I can only get Golden Axe to run on boot up.
Shinobi works…just only when it is the only cart in a slot.

Overall stoked, as opposed to STOKED, HO-DADDY WOOOOOOOOOH re: not being able to mix and match carts on a 4-slot. Working ‘select’ button support in, would’ve been a great QOL enhancement. Popping the Neo25 bay door every time I want to play something, takes some of the shine off of the idea of these carts.

If I wanted to play the games one at a time, I would just use the System 16 boards instead.
