Had one of these hats 20 years ago, it got lost by a friend at some point. I really don't remember which friend it even was or why he had it.

At the time I didn't even really know where/when it was from. Recently found out that they were available at the US debut ACME show in 1990 (probably afterward as well) and really wanted to find one again. Found a couple sales over the years, but wasn't sure how long I'd have to be looking until finding one.

This one popped up on Mercari last week though, so after a silly amount of money for a hat, hat has been acquired.

Here are a few goobs wearing the hat at the debut show from an industry mag's coverage.

And SNK USA's Western Sales Manager Tracy Tate wearing one along with a Neo Geo baseball uniform on this cover.

Hate to tell you this but it's a fake.
I can tell by the pixels, I've seen a lot of them and just know.
Trust me bro.
Ship it to me along with $20 and I'll find out who ripped you off and wright them a nasty email.

Damn, how much did that 95 set you back. None of the English KoF homecarts are easy to find beyond 94.

There wasn't a good condition one available?
💅🏽
Gamer condition is good condition. I also want to say this to collectors spending $20 less on CD jewel cases with normal scuff marks. More for me then.

It's like the record grading scale
Poor, good, very good, excellent, near mint, mint

For the money I'd rather be buying as near to the right hand side as possible

Honestly, the insert is pretty nice, spine isn't faded. The case is a bit rough is all. Anyway, I came across it at a brick n mortar for a good price, so I can't complain. If I were buying online at full retail, I'd be more picky about it, but this was just happenstance upon a deal.

Also, it's gotten me to play 95 for the first time in years, and I've had a good time with it. Much funner game than I remember.

I normally try to avoid buying discs for modern console games, but when the deal is right. Saved about 10% buying these together as a package deal than purchasing them separately.

Cool. What do you think of Estique? I love Compile stuff but I've held off on buying that so far.
It's great, switching modes at the right moment becomes second-nature, and the music and graphics are good. I haven't spent too much time with it yet but I can't wait to find the time to play it some more. First impressions are good.

Isn't every disc for xbox or playstation just a permission slip? Every one I've bought over the years has been that way. Pretty sure only switch puts the actual game on a physical format, where you put the game in and can play immediately out of the package.

Anyway, xbox lets you download the game before you buy it, either the digital code or the physical disc. So at least it's ready to go when the release date finally hits. Just found that out recently, and it comes in handy. Sucks when you get a new game, and then have to sit there and wait for an 80gb download. The predownload saves that step at least, which is welcome. So I downloaded the new Doom over the weekend.

No, but there is a lot to download for most games, and it's more true when playing a game on Series X that also works on Xbone.

Switch has been doing that with some of its games and its going to be pretty common with 3rd party Switch 2 games. Cyberpunk so far is the only 3rd party game to be installed fully on the cart.
