Is Asura's Wrath hard to find these days? I feel like it didn't sell well and is probably semi rare now.

Top Hunter have any CD enhancements?
Isn't the final boss of that game Evil Ruy or Shin Gouki?

Got this in the mail today and I couldn't be happier. One of my most treasured memories on the Amiga (playing with my brother) and one of my top 3 favorite adventure games of all time. Box isn't in perfect shape, but it's a wonder you can still find them in any shape at all - this was before the sturdy cardboard boxes they later used.

And the other two are Indy 3 and the first Monkey Island, so I finally completed my holy trilogy. I surely wouldn't mind a nice copy of Maniac Mansion, but the prices for boxed in good conditions... ouch.

Too much warmth and enthusiasm, huh? Sorry, I'll dial it down and redo my post to meet neo-geo.com expectations.

So, I got this crap in the mail this morning. I mean, I'm kinda disgusted with myself, but what can you do? A couple of weeks ago I was browsing ebay while drunk and I pulled the trigger for this old garbage I'll never actually play. I guess it's for the nice memories and stuff (though I can't even remember a time when I was really happy).

I'm also embarrassed to say that I have THREE of these useless cardboard boxes filled with plastic crap and manuals and shit. God, I feel like I'm turning into fucking Metal Jesus Rocks.

I can't see the pics because you chose a region locked photo hosting tool.

So that's why you're so irritated by the whole thing - it was sensory deprivation.

There you go. Now you'll probably sell your whole Neo collection and join me in big box computer game hunting.

All right, I also got this in the mail. Not in great shape and no manual, but I paid 100 EUR for it (weird how the MVS version can be even more expensive nowadays).

About computer game collecting, it really depends on the titles and the era (and if you lived through it). To me, boxed Cinemaware games like Wings and It Came From the Desert, or Lucasfilm adventure games are much more interesting than another super expensive copy of Garou: Mark of the Wolves.

Nie to see some Amiga love. Solid pickups.

The first Monkey Island is an absolute blast.

Monkey island 2 on Amiga was like 12 disks
Ain't no-one got time for that
Ps Amiga was bad for games that weren't made solely for Amiga

Thanks Atro, I appreciate it. 🤝 Playing Monkey 1 when it came out was really a blast. I still think that the best looking version is the original EGA 16 colors (that's where Mark Ferrari did his dithering magic), but the Amiga version had great music when most PCs could only produce beeps and scratches.

Monkey 2 on the Amiga was a joke unless you had an hard disk, but at that point PCs were way ahead. To be honest I never liked it that much, even on PC. To me it's a downgrade in every aspect - especially the writing and the puzzles.

Gotta disagree on the ports issue - I mean, it's true that the Amiga had a lot of absolute garbage ports, but for example Rainbow Islands, B.C. Kid, Parasol Stars, Pang, Bomberman/Dynablaster, Silk Worm, Rod Land were all excellent (Factor 5 did an amazing job with B.C. Kid).

It wasn't great for gaming tbh
Some good stuff, but consoles were absolutely kicking it's ass even in the early nineties

With consoles you couldn't tell your parents "If you buy it, I'm gonna use it to study and do math and... and print documents. Yeah... that's the ticket."

Yeah but you had to play terrible games instead, it's ok, everyone in Europe has suffered that pain. Enjoy sf2 on Amiga while others play the snes one, magic pockets while people played super mario world. Convince yourself
