Picked up a few more Neo Geo CD flyers, and an unused KoF'98 pop promoting the calendar pack:

Also picked up some cheap PC Engine stuff, plus a copy of Decathlete for the Saturn.

Finally got my copy of Demons of Asteborg for the Mega Drive as well - a relative had been holding on to it for me (think Neofid shipped it in July?)

This showed up today.
Preordered it along with Bayonetta 3.
This is the second time I've bought this game, first being the 360 version.
Guess I just want all 3 on the same console.

Here are some pick-ups from the past few months.

GAIARES just arrived yesterday and I forgot it included a T-Shirt.

Strictly Limited's Panorama Cotton release was a great way to get an expensive game for a normal price. I have the Japanese version but I do like collecting and supporting these licensed re-issues. I hope they continue.

Cleopatra's Curse is a good game. I'm about 50% through and despite the mediocre graphics it's a lot of fun (sometimes a bit frustrating because of the whip mechanic). If there's room for Indie titles in your collection you should watch for the next batch; which is coming.

Andro Dunos II is a good shooter. The games menu and limited options feel pretty basic but the game itself it solid and fun. I still haven't beat level 5 but I found I like going back and replaying the previous levels for high scores. I don't normally bother with scores but I found it was a good option for when I didn't have the stamina to try and tackle level 5 again.

Gear Shifters also feels very basic in areas but the gameplay is good. It's not as good as Andro Dunos II but I am enjoying it so far.

I didn't know Andro Dunos 2 got a PS4 release.
I picked up the Switch version when it hit.

The Switch has turned into an amazing platform for physical retro/indie games.

But I’ve setup shop with the PS4/PS5
so I keep a close eye out for cool physical release for Sony.

Very disappointed in Strictly Limited. Every time I preorder something from them, it takes like a year and a half to arrive. Limited Run is getting pretty bad, too. 6-12 months.

I don't really mind. I totally forgot preordering Panorama Cotton, so it suddenly showing up was a nice suprise.

Neither of those two companies are Working Designs, that’s for sure.

At this point, I’ve already accepted that I’ll never be able to clear all the games in my backlog. And yet… I still keep buying shit 😭
Why even have a backlog to begin with? Lol I've finished less than 20 games over the last 20+ years.
