My main basement goob room. I run the neo through a retrotink 5x-pro, and I've been pretty happy with it.

Home carts

Most of my MVS carts, although there are a handful of others in shockboxes. And while I picked up a consolized mvs about 5 or 6 years back, I mostly just use the Furrtek Fusion on the AES nowadays.

And finally, my seedees. Some of these I've had for nearly 20 years now, but I purged a ton of the disc collection around 10/11 when my original CD console went bad. The one without a manual is Double Dragon. And years ago, when I bought Sonic Wings 2 from a Japanese seller, they sent me the SW3 disc in it by mistake. So, I ordered a disc only SW2, and just put them both together in a multi-disc case. My Hungarian ingenuity. Ha! Kind of forgot about that until I pulled them all out to take this photo.

But since I picked up a home system a few years back, I've been slowly transferring my CD favorites to homecarts. I rarely play the CD console anymore, although I do enjoy some of the exclusive soundtracks.

prof. What's with the Marilyn Monroe.
Many years ago, before I started college even, now that I think about it, my cousin gave it to me as a gift. We had a bond over old movies, particularly those of the 40s and 50s. He was older than me, and I looked up to him, so it made me feel good that we could have such deep conversations about classic cinema, and relate it to life and such. He's been gone for close to a decade now, sadly. So while I think Marilyn Monroe is great, I probably keep it displayed more because of what it represents to me.

Decided to do a one year update on my neo collection. I added a couple homecarts over the past year, and moved them all to the shelf over my computer desk. Upgraded SS3 to a minty copy, and came across a goob deal on the dogtag WH2, so I passed the Japanese copy along to a buddy. And I've been snagging more MVS whenever a deal comes along. Still loving that Fusion.

He was a Hungarian-American catholic from Detroit, so I idolized him as a kid. Plus, he had poor eyesight too. Haha

prof for the love of all that is good and right don't arrange your homecarts in alphabetical order. it's an insult to the library only a noob would make.

I'm not saying the should be in NGH# order either, but put a little thought/care into it. smdh.

My recommendation for the games you have would be:

Art of Fighting 2
Fatal Fury 3
Real Bout Fatal Fury
Real Bout Fatal Fury Special
KOF 98
KOF 99
Samurai Spirits
Samurai Spirtis 2
Samurai Spirtis 3
Samurai Spirtis 4
Last Blade

And don't worry about the order of the US/Dog Tag games. Those all belong in the trash anyway. :keke:
