PSP unbrick help

Right, so I have a Pandora's battery, but I cannot seem to create a magic memory stick. Would anyone be so kind as to direct me to how I can do it? I don't have a working PSP, only a 1GB mem stick and a card reader attached to my PC. I'm not fussed if it'll downgrade me to 1.5 as I can just upgrade afterwards, I just need to get this PSP unbricked asap.

I'd really appreciate any help.

one possible solution is to transfer the files from a 'magic' memory card to your 1gb, then proceed with the pandora procedure.
