Maybe Lost in Blue since it looks almost good...

Although you're probably looking for something more like Trace Memory... I think Lost in Blue is a bit more interactive than what you want.

Rise of the Dragon for Sega CD reminds me of Snatcher but is not nearly as good.

Gyakuten Saiban 2 and 3. (4 is coming later this year, it'll be translated into English if you just wait a bit)

The Sakura Taisen series, though those aren't in English.

i suppose you wouldn't care for galge reccomendations?

Heh , the genre of game you want is called "Digital Comic" I am a big fan of these types of games as well

Too bad Policenauts "the unnoficial sequel to Snatcher" was never translated because its supposed to be AMAZING I have it but cant get past all the "sushi" someday I will learn Nihongo, just so I can play it.

Well There are 3 games by Kemko Seika that you must play, although they are on NES so they dont have the same cinematic appeal that the newer ones have but just as fun none the less they are:

Shadowgate ....also called "castle shadowgate"
Dejavu
The Uninvited

play these three titles they are really good for their time also here is a link to a small page dedicated to the digital comic genre.

rise of the dragon for sega cd is fucking awesome. if it was longer it could of competed with snatcher (which i also love).

i wouldnt call this genre "digital comics". more like point-and-click adventure games, kind of like all those old school lucasarts games without the 3rd person view. digital comics are just that. sometimes you are given options to branch the story off in another direction.

i used to know a few good ones but i cant think of them right now. :crying:

Well no, not really. (Not all of them) And quite a few are really great.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention Gyakuten 2 and 3 are being released in English on a case by case basis for cell phones. Not sure of the details (or even where to find them) but I'm sure you'll find something on Google if you don't know already.
