Unibios will let you do the same on an original Neo Geo. Just put an exclamation point as the last character of the file user's name to enable it.

Indeed, been using this successfully for years. In this regards I wonder how the saving to memory card functionalities will work on the AES+ compared to an AES with Unibios. Probably they developed their own custom bios.

Hopefully there's more space on that new card (they probably can't make it bigger and maintain compatibility though). I don't use the high score saving on the Unibios because it fills the card too fast.

True, on an original memory card the space is at a premium, but I took the plunge a while back and converted a memory card I had to use FRAM (4x the capacity) and works just fine there (I have 30 carts or so at the moment so didn’t incur in any space limit yet).

The new memory cards have 8x the capacity of a stock memory card (16kbit) hence there is there enough space to ideally contain high scores for the whole library.

I emailed to ask for a partial cancel but haven't heard back yet. I wonder if they can do that, or will I have to cancel the whole order and start over? We'll see.

I saw somewhere else where someone tried to change their order and when they finally got back to him they told him he had to cancel the entire order and reorder, so be ready for that to be the answer.

Yeah, I'm expecting that. In that case I might just keep the order as is, since I'm unsure if I'd be able to successfully order the Ultimate bundle again.

I'm not talking about original official cards. I haven't used one of those in years. I'm using the NeoSaveMasta and a JGO card.

If you're using a card that wasn't meant for Neo Geo, you should be careful. It's really easy to erase if you go into the hardware test menu, because it will cycle to the memory card test, which will corrupt it. Also, Riding Hero will erase everything too. I tried with two of those cards for years and kept losing everything. It was a relief when the NeoSaveMasta and JGO cards came out.

Sorry for the confusion, I meant, FRAM-modified an original Neo Geo Memory Card.

I only canceled my order (just a memory card) because I was able to get one from Amazon for $20 less. Shipping for the card from plaion was friggin $20
