ReplicaX has Passed Away

Hi all,

Just wanted to share with the remaining old timers that ReplicaX (Ben) passed away on Sunday. Details are still spotty, but from what I was told he passed in his sleep. The belief right now is a heart attack.

He worked a very stressful job that his life was forced to revolve around and while I’m not sure what role that played in his death, I’m sure it didn’t help.

He was a stubborn and VERY opinionated guy but he would drop everything in a flash to lend a hand. He taught me a lot about fixing arcade machines and wiring in general. He will be missed for sure.

Really makes you stop and take inventory of your life when it’s a friend in your own age group.

Spoke to Ben almost daily and he was one of the most level-headed and intelligent people I've known. He had extensive knowledge around many things we loved in common (arcades, pinball, electronics in general) and interesting perspectives given his military background.
We are getting to that age where time can creep up on us, make sure to do that yearly physical, get your bloodwork done and take your health seriously.

I'll miss you Ben, Rest In Peace buddy.

Truly a man among men and one I proudly called one of my friends.
Insanely nice to me and others and a great amount of knowledge that will be lost.
It disgusts me that someone like Ben goes and we still have terrible people walking this earth.
