Yeah, no problem. I'm guessing you understand the silence on those of us that know.

I'd have put you on the first go round but it's been so long since I've been here I didn't know who all knew him first hand.

I know you guys agreed to not post the details of his passing .... but... are we going to do a donation for his family? If so, PM me where to send the money. I hope his family have a lot of freinds and relatives around to give them support during these trying times. Keep me posted if a donation takes place. SG was a cool guy and with me having 3 kids of my own, I would want people to look out for my family.

I know I haven't been around much, but this is still tragic news and I pay my respects. Whatever the circumstances, I send my condolences and wish only the best for his family members and close friends. Rest In Peace.

Unfortunately I'm not aware of any donations to the family or anything else.

I'll dig around and see if there are any details surrounding donations.

I didn't know him, but I do recall seeing him around after I had first joined this forum. It is unfortunate that we have lost another member, but hopefully he has gone to a better place and will be waiting for those that loved him the most.

R.I.P. Saturn Gamer. God be with you.

Wow, I haven't checked Unrelated in a while and didn't notice this.

Didn't know the guy well and he didn't post too often but seemed like a good guy.

Damn... don't have to know somebody well to feel sorry for their friends and family when something like this happens--more so when that person happens to be young.

I'll take a drink in his name.

RIP

Haven't been to the forum for a few days. I'm still in a bit of shock. I've hung out with SG in person. He was a great guy that loved games and loved his kids.

Man did he love those kids. He was a passionate guy and he would be so excited when we talked about games. When his kids came up there was something in his eyes beyond his love for games. I'm not married nor do I have kids. There is nothing that matters to me like those kids mattered to him. I'm starting to cry.....

God this fucking sucks.

What happened is simply tragic. My condolences go to his entire family. It's crazy that we didn't get to find this out earlier. :(

i meant that in a spiritual sense.
[anyone who feels earth is the happiest place in the universe must've had a blessed life, and im jealous]
but there's solace in rest.

He had a crazy amount of love for his kids. Not sure he's happier where he is with that being the case.

I'm not trying to be an asshole or anything, but I don't really see why it hasn't just been posted outright what happened to SG.

I've already done a search on Google and I saw the news stories about it.

I just don't see the need to hide what happened...we never tried hiding what happened to the other members here who passed away. Why start now? Not stating something leaves everything open to idle speculation...until I saw the news stories, I thought it was something else. How his life ended doesn't reduce the quality of his life in any way based on what I've read from those who knew him personally.

I sort of agree, because to be honest, the secrecy and his relative youth made me think suicide at first (which is how many people with a relative that kills themselves would react), and to be honest that would be the wrong impression to give anyone.

This was not his fault, it was not an accident, and in my opinion only hurts his memory more than helps.

Again, I didn't know him personally, so I understand those that did may have more say in the matter, but thought I'd mention my thoughts.

Whoa...

You know, I didn't really know the guy, but when stuff like this happens it just makes me sick to my stomach and angry. I hope he rests in peace.

I don't think it's ghoulish to want some details. I mean, at least there'd be some sense to the guy's death right?

I didn't know him, so I ain't the best one to ask, but it'd be nice to have at least a cursory knowledge of why he's gone.

Anyways, say hi to Sifl and give Jigen/Clint a high five for me.
