Just saw a guy I know on facebook post one of these for sale.. in excellent condition apparently with no scratches.. but 800 euros still sounds a bit too steep to me :p

Throughout all my years of Sega Rallys Scud Race's and Daytona's I've never really come across one of these.. Anyone here?

Same, but the OP is right - 800 euros is way too steep. I might go $500 on it, but I'd really just like to throw a couple dollars into it to try it out.

If anyone's interested I could always throw in an offer.. but it will probably cost you something ridiculous to ship it! He's local so might ask him if I can take her for a spin in the next few days!!

There used to be a Roads Edge cab at the Tilt Arcade in Downtown Salt Lake City. Saw it a few times but never had a chance to play it.

Sure. There's no harm in checking out the cab, playing a few rounds, and telling him there's no way you could go that high on it. Maybe he'd even drop his price way down if he saw an interested buyer (provided that you really like the game).

I wonder if that eight hundred euros included what the guy paid to have that cab shipped to the island in the first place.

As far as I know, it was one company that was doing all the buying shipping (SNK, Capcom, Sega stuff) for the whole country.. and they would distribute to the rest of the island. So I don't think these guys paid all that much for shipping.. 30 minutes to 1 hour truck ride!

I could ask him where they came from though!

I stayed at a resort in Palm Beach a few years ago, and they had 2 Road's Edge side-by-side in their game room. They also had a Metal Slug 4 cab. It't the first time I saw Road's Edge anywhere, and I had to try it. :D

800 euros ($1,100) is a little high.
But, it's in great condition!! and a sit-down cab.
You can easily install and play Xtreme Rally/Off Beat Racer.

I would offer 550 euros ($750)

And you can drive down and pick it up (if you have a truck or SUV).

When you deal with cabs, the price usually isn't the issue. It's the crate and shipping costs.

I've found many cabs for great prices ($500-$600) on the West Coast (California), but the $1-2k shipping for each one is ridiculous. I'm on the East Coast (Florida).

I found 2 Neo Geo MVS 4-slot cabs locally in Florida.
I went for a drive (30 minutes), loaded my Touareg, and drove 'em home.

I saw one of these in Austin texas years ago at a Pizza joint of all places. The price is indeed a bit steep so I would probably haggle him down a bit.
