i've got the game, and i want say that rugal is almost to much, his reppuken has less lag time, me and my friend's used him and we can with him easily, thanks for his attacks, and he can juggle his kick super(any level) after any knockdown attack, and joe is good, he can do 4 japs against zangief, then do his screw upper super, his standing HK is a good poking, but i have a question, can anyone tell me how can i fight shin akuma, and thank u.

in cvs pro his EX version have been improved especially that dash grab move.its speed have been improved over the original CVS1.
to fight shin akuma, you should get a groove point of 85 and above.good luck on it though since now its not as easy to get very high groove points since Ex benimaru's electric trigger does not give any groove point increase like the original game does.

No point at all ???
I also think getting a groove point of over 85 without Ex Benimaru is quite hard...
unless play cheap....

so you think that Rugal in CvS 2 will be as good as in CvS Pro?

I've finished the original game with a 100.00 groove point score a couple times, using either Ryu's hadoken or Blanka's rolling attack. Yeah it's cheap, but as many times as I have finished this game now, I don't mind playing cheap against the CPU.

The IA of SvC is stupid, lazy so many characters in normal level fight with same level when they goes to the beach and Kyo is a punchball of Ryu, Iori the same ..., in less Rugal and Gesse can anything more that the majority of characters, but is a Campcom game with the characters with more power (ex. Benimaru) have less power and his super Electric Trigger less fast , they counter him, the same for the fireball of Kyo and the Kusanagi no Kenda, these tecnics which are invicinble in KOF, are stupid and hard to connect it,the shotos can counter the fireball of Kyo with a Shouryken, I didn´t seen that Ryo or Robert counter the fireball of Kyo with it.

Yeah, but Ryu and Ken's dragon punches were always better than Ryo and Roberts.

Actually I've gotten to 100.00 without serious cheese, mainly using Vega. The trick is that when I play against a high-difficulty computer, I always counter a few of its special moves or supers with a super of my own and this causes the groove points to SKYROCKET! The elevator effect slows down around 80-90 though, I need to get special move hits for the last 10 or so.

So (getting back to infcombo question) to get to Shin Akuma with Rugal I would raise the computer difficulty to the max that you can win every match with, and be very aggressive with the kick super -- you will get a lot of points for countering with this. Under normal circumstances when you are not countering, use a combination of the air fireball move and genocide cutter. The air move is cheap and can be repeated indefinitely against many opponents. I'd stay away from Rugal's combos on the throw move, they're great for human comp but the computer doesn't score well at all for them.
