if you see carefully, terry always does the busterwolf which is really annoying, yamazaki always does the qcf, qcf+p super and bison always does the knee press nightmare.these supers are also very cheap when the cpu keeps repeating it.ryu continuos shinku hadoken is very easy to avoid when using iori's maiden masher.ryu is a iece of cake.but those supers mentioned above are hard to avoid especially yamazaki's super.i don't see the reason why people keep bashing ryu just for the repeated shinku-hadokens which are actually easy to avoid by rolling and countering it by another person's super(iori).

Here's your homework assignment for today:

I'll give you ONE hint to avoid all of this...
SNK Groove... REGULAR Terry Bogard.

Experiment a little bit... there is a tactic that can literally get around ALL of this and more... <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

Personally I think any SF character in SNK groove is cheap since most of the SF supers usually don't have much recovery on them. As for Ryu, are you referring to human players? I've rolled through a Shinkuu Hadoken thrown by the computer only to get jacked by a Shinkuu Tatsumaki Senpu Kyaku; twice! Proberly more than that now that I think about it... The computer seems to love playing Shotos extremely cheap against me for some reason.

actually, the cheapest SNK groove chars are EX Mai (fan super over and over, certain chars have a real hard time getting out), and Iori (8 wine cups over and over, same thing).

Balrog's and Guile's are pretty good from the Capcom side, since neither character has the initiative after the super.

Ryu is a lot worse in SNK groove. You need the ability to ShinShoryuken at any time. That's pretty much the whole reason to use Ryu.

Well, I agree with what you've said, but the relatively short recovery time of the Shinku-Hadoken makes it a little cheap.

EX Iori? What the? There's no such Iori, and if there were the computer wouldn't use him. I think you mean normal Iori?

There is an EX Iori, it's the Riot of the Blood / Orochi version. See the secret shop in the DC version.
