That looks like a great card, I am sure he would have been touched by a card like that.

As many of you have mentioned or eluded to, I didn't know Shawn but I'm touched to see how this online community comes together in times of need, sorrow and grieving. Thanks for going the extra mile Mikhail, nicely done.

Wow guys! Classy of you guys to represent the forum. I didn't talk much to Shawn, but I don't recall ever seeing negativity coming from him, even when others were dogpiling him for his trading issues or doubting his sickness.

His online friends were many and I know he's touched a lot of people. I wouldn't wish his illness on even driver-man and Shawn is in a place now where he's free of it.

Godspeed!

Just looking again at those pictures of him as a kid, wow. :(

The family remembered him as a happy child, part of the three muskeeters with his brother and sister. He was very lucky to have a loving family that was there for him. That's all we really want for our kids, for them to be happy and healthy.

Kit had a touching story to share with his family. Shawn once asked him to get the TMNT arcade PCB. Kit asked him why he wanted it since he already had a ROMbox. Shawn's response was that he remembered playing the cab with his mom at a pizza place when he was young, and he wanted to relive that happy experience as close to it being authentic as possible.

It did the family good to see that they were not alone in knowing what a remarkable person Boog was and in loving him, and, speaking personally, it was a great relief and comfort to be able to express that love one last time. Thank you so much for being facilitator, messenger, and ambassador, Mikhail.

It's rare to hear that kind of a story where it's the kid who's having the health troubles. Sadder, too.

RIP Shawn. I never had anything bad to say about the guy. He was very cheerful and he will be missed very much.I came to his selling thread from time to time, giving any advice that i might add. Now you wont ever be trolled by those n-g.com goons ever again up in the skies =) RIP Boog

I can not believe that I missed this thread. I have been very busy for the past month or so; consequently, I have not been on the forum much.

It's sad to hear of Shawn's passing. I considered him a great forum member, and a friend. I enjoyed my conversations with him. Despite his physical limitations, he had a lot of friends across the globe because of this forum. I still remember him tripping out over a NOS Duo pad I sold him a few years ago; and how much he enjoyed it with Drac X.

Shawn, you are missed; your memory and legacy will live on here, at ng.com. Best wishes and comfort for his family during this difficult time.

It's very sad to see another member go, my sincere condolences go to Shawn's friends and family.

Rest in peace, Boog.
