I remember a while back some people weren't really giving it the highest praises. i bought it today, only played it for about 20 minutes with my friends, i'll play it a little later.

The meshing of six different systems (however significant, or insignificant one may consider it) is done surprisingly well, backgrounds look great, and the sounds are great. Honestly I don't remember too too much about it, I need to play it later to really be able to inform.

Character selection is decent, for my purposes anyway... the Warzard characters are neat, I'm just wondering if Hauzer's size will compromise his usability.

There's this JPN DVD coming out for it, it looks very very detailed in explaining game mechanics and offering tips and such... you can some vidcaps at http://www.capcom.co.jp/fighting_jam/ [nice website!]

It sucks that they didn't redraw anyone, but I mean... at this point I've come to not expect a lot in that department.

All in all, it's a NEW FIGHTING GAME! Haven't had one in some time.

I'm souped.

If anyone has any questions about the game, I'd be happy to answer them as best I can.

P.S. - They should have stuck with "Jam," not "Evolution."

Capcom Fighting Evolution... too many syllables; sounds dumb.

Lord, I just took a look at those movies... is that legal? Hauzer's move seemed like a good 100% combo if you have enough charge, and Chun-Li pulled off this 50 hit, 100% combo. I hope this isn't a bad sign that the game is off-balanced.

Don't waste your time or money unless you just want to fool around with Demitri's Midnight Bliss, man.

Like Son Gohan already said, "Not worth having if you already have Capcom Vs. SNK 2."

No, it really isn't "that bad," it just... isn't incredible.

I still think it's a lot of fun, but what I've noticed is that it's actually quite a bit more difficult than CvS2.

More of the same, yes; but it's still a lot of fun.

Got it when it came out.. wasn't expecting much and I got what I expected. It's a disposable, fun to play game. It's hard. I do like how they put Karin in there.

I bought this game at launch. I really like that they included Warzard characters and made the game so insanely difficult on level 8 (I mean, I can blow right through most neo fighters on level 8, so by making this game so hard it has much added replay value). The character roster is quite small and it's a shame that they didn't include a groove select, but all-in-all this title is a very hard and fun game that is well justified at the $29 price tag.

Yeah, the game is probably more difficult than most Capcom fighters.

Control is like, *SUPER* tight, cancels need to be done wayyy early and timing needs to be very exact, even on the Vampire Savior chain combos. It makes it all the more difficult.

Music is also sort of... well, questionable. Not all of them are bad, but eh...

Again, it's still a *lot* of fun.

This just came out in Japan! I got my copy and played for about an hour. This game is wicked. Sure it's a little strange and the sprites look like hell, but the warzard characters are fun. Also I love the art. The character portraits are so well done!

My copy was 6500 yen!!! way too expensive, it came with an extra dvd with combos and game history and all that. I havent watched it yet. I hope this game comes out on xbox quickly so we can play online.

So far I haven't found a favorite character. They all are pretty fun to use. It seems like capcom actually spent some time to balance it out. Haunting around the srk forums theres a lot of info.

Fun game. No where near as good as Third Strike or Alpha 3. But I like it just as much as CvS2. Cvs2 lite is a good comment. Doesn't feel like there will be the layers of depth or the long arcade life in this title. I haven't been able to see any good games going on at the local arcade. Even the arcade in akihabara was pretty dead.
