I remember a while back some people weren't really giving it the highest praises. i bought it today, only played it for about 20 minutes with my friends, i'll play it a little later.
The meshing of six different systems (however significant, or insignificant one may consider it) is done surprisingly well, backgrounds look great, and the sounds are great. Honestly I don't remember too too much about it, I need to play it later to really be able to inform.
Character selection is decent, for my purposes anyway... the Warzard characters are neat, I'm just wondering if Hauzer's size will compromise his usability.
There's this JPN DVD coming out for it, it looks very very detailed in explaining game mechanics and offering tips and such... you can some vidcaps at http://www.capcom.co.jp/fighting_jam/ [nice website!]
It sucks that they didn't redraw anyone, but I mean... at this point I've come to not expect a lot in that department.
All in all, it's a NEW FIGHTING GAME! Haven't had one in some time.
I'm souped.
If anyone has any questions about the game, I'd be happy to answer them as best I can.
