I live south of Houston in a little Town called friendswood and was hit pretty hard with rain and flooding. Luckly though no water go in the house although I was trapped all day yesterday until the water receeded. I was hoping everyone else on the list in the Houston area came out ok as well. One of my friends got a few feet in his house and that kinda sucked. I already had my truck loaded with my priorities.

1. all Neo geo stuff
2. Anime
3. Animals.

and I was ready to roll at a moments notice

Glad to hear you did not get flooded out, Big Bruno. I can only imagine having to pack up guns, games, etc. and move at a moment's notice. Weather such as what caused this flooding is kind of unusual for Houston, is it not?

Glad to hear you are O.K. Big Bruno. Floods suck. Our old neighborhood flooded 2 years ago and we lost 30 houses. The water came up to our garage door and then it stopped raining. They drew a line next to our old house and all the ruined houses on the other side were bought out, bulldozed, and the land was turned into a flood control area/park. We were lucky. Sounds like you were too. Best wishes to peeps in Houston area.

Actually, the flood is what's kept me off this board lately. My friend came from Arizona to stay with me a week and he was unable to go home because Greyhound buses weren't running in Houston for a few days.
I went to Houston today and I was shocked that there was a flood at all!
It was very hot and dry were I went! I went down Westeimer, to downtown and then to Almeda mall to play KOF 2000. Not a drop of water. PAINFULLY dry and hot. I couldn't believe the flood damage I saw on the news just one day before!
I hope everyone recovers as quickly as things seemed to though.
