So Killzone 3

Spoilers and shit.

I know the Hellgast are supposed to be this big bad military dictatorship type deal with aims to destroy earth or something, but at the end of the game you basically end up pulling a Genesis on the planet and killing every living thing on the surface and just kind of play it off as a "whoops."

Am I supposed to feel good that I won the game and defeated the bad guy (even though you really didn't because him and 3 guards are apparently the only things to survive) or bad that I just genocided an entire planet.

I demand answers.

I never played the first two, but the third one is like the goofiest 90s action movie you've ever seen.
