This will sort of pique the interest of anyone who plays as Hibiki.
When in console mode [i.e. - playing on a system with a pause button], if you do her meter-charging taunt (hold start), and then pause the game but keep the start button held down, and then you unpause a few seconds later, the meter will be at a level as if it were charging during the pause.
So basically, you can start the meter-charge, pause the game for about 5 seconds, and then unpause and you will have a full super meter. I discovered this today when I was playing, great game.
I've been playing this shit for like, six years in total, i owned the Neo CD version of this like a couple years ago and I played the rom on and off. Last year i finally bought the jpn cartridge from Neo Mike (now known as Neo Maikeru), and goddamn, what a fine game.
You know, it's crazy to think about how long it took for me to get good at this game, i don't know about the rest of you guys but it probably took me six whole years (granted, of sporadic playing) to be able to get to Kouryu on 1 credit on level 8 difficulty. still haven't beaten it on 1 credit.
Digression aside, that's sorta interesting, right? I mean, it wouldn't affect vs. play because you wouldn't be able to do it in arcade mode and nobody in their right mind would let you just do that, but i think it could give a player an unfair advantage if they happen to be playing story mode.
I hope nobody's posted this already.
