Publisher Sega and developer Empty Clip Studios will release Streets of Kamurocho, a mashup of Streets of Rage 2 and the Yakuza series, for PC via Steam on October 17 as part of Sega’s 60th anniversary. It will only be available until October 19 at 10:00 a.m. PT / 2:00 p.m. ET.

I looked into it, seems like theres a good chance of a bunch of shit going wrong if you just do the auto update thing. Only reliable way to do it is fresh install, and ive got no interest when my pc currently does everything correctly without pissing me off every time i turn it on. It will be fully out of date hardware wise in 2 years, so i might as well just wait until i get another laptop. Laziness prevails!!

Yo whats up max 330 mega, Windows 10 isn’t a requirement. It’s running just fine on one of the older pc’s that I put it on.

It’s a fun little game. I love the Yakuza series and I love SoR so I definitely had to check this one out:

It's a fun little game. The fan service for Yakuza fans is pretty great. If you're familiar with the series, you'll appreciate all the nods.

And it's free. Can't beat free.

At round 21 the enemy AI became ridiculously easy, but they were able to kill you in 1 hit if you basically just stood around and did nothing for a bit. I played until round 35 or so and then just let the AI kill me to see if there was some kind of leaderboard:





Overall, I thought it was a fun little freebie from Sega.

Just played a bit, found out real quick that you can defeat enemies quite easy in stage 1.
Just press punch twice a second.

So hype for this! Literally two of the best Sega IPs together. This would only have been better if they worked in Ryo from Shenmue or other Shenmue characters, but Ill take it as is.
