Went there for lunch/dinner today. I don't know if this happened everywhere but they sent out coupons in the mail a couple of weeks back and I've been using ones that are Buy 1 6" Sub + Drink, get 1 6" Sub free.

There's only one thing I order from Subway and it's a pretty simple sandwich.

Meatball Marinara on Italian Herbs & Cheese Bread
I get Provolone and American (double cheese not half & half)
Toasted
Add Parmesan and Oregano and I'm done.

Like I said, pretty simple and pedestrian as sandwiches go but I despise cold cuts so nothing else on the regular menu I can get. I thought about trying that pulled pork they're running right now but I don't really trust Subway to get pulled pork right (plus it's pre-sauced meat, that's a bad sign).

Footling steak, with bacon, chilli cheese and an extra 'herb' sprinkled on before it was toasted and gooey. Then covered in southwest sauce.

I stopped going there about 2 yrs ago. I could not figure out why, then it hit me. It's the smell when you first walk in.
You'd expect a place where they bake their own bread to smell like a bakery, but instead it always smells like some cleaning solution that instantly triggers my gag reflex.

Eh the Tuna sub isn't too bad and it fills you up at least. It's what I usually order w/ wheat bread, pepperjack, cucumbers, spinach and tomatoes. I only go once or twice a year though as there are far better options out there.

Jimmy John is an ass that hunts endangered species. They are hella expensive though. I usually get the Italian slim, and a drink and it's still Like $8.

One of my favorite places lately is Which wich. Lots of toppings and price is on par with subway.

Uh Subway is shitty. Every other sandwich place I can think of is better IMO. Jimmy Johns, Erberts and Gerberts, Potbelly, Blimpee, Cousins, Which Wich, Milios, Panera Bread......

I feel like anytime I get a sub at Subway, it always tastes like the same bland shit every time.
