I painted a little 3D printed Slug model and hand made base to make a small minidio. I used a Formalbs 2 Resine Printer on 25Ym accuracity.

The base is made of a sheet ABS and plaster.

That looks mega good!

What kind of printer do you use? A resin printer, am I right?

I have also thought about printing out one, but I don't think my FDM printer is suitable.

Very cool project! Do you have your project at thingverse?

The cannon should have some blast marks for signs of wear. I used to distress Robotech models back when I was a kid. Shows the battering these things take out in the world.

Yes, it’s made by a Formlabs 2, the file was thingiverse.
And how is resin printing? Is it a big mess right? I think you can't do it in you living rooms... My current prusa is running in my office and it is quite okay.

Thanks :)

@DeWitt
Its no mess at all, there are very efficient cleaning devices from Formlabs with minimum smell of Alcohol. I never needed gloves.

Impressive work on both the paintjob on the tank and the base you created for it. Needs some squished Mars People under the treads!

Dope AF, it does need some dry brush weathering though.

Very cool. Now if someone would 3D print an actual kit and then cast the printed parts in resin...

Sounds very nice! Does that mean that you are using your printer inside your normal office?
