May as well start this one up...

My two cents - we will only see games that SNK has the rights to (so that includes ADK, Saurus, Yumekobo, Nazca).

Not sure that even then, all the games will be reissued, as commercially it wouldn't make sense with some titles (and I'm not just thinking about the mahjong stuff).

Givens: Metal Slug series, Blazing Star, more KoF's, LoSJ, and Fight Fever.

I mean, if you've got a choice between FF2 and FFS, you're not really going to buy 2... although the completists will want the whole series.

I dunno. Wtf do I know.

Last Blades need to make an appearance surely.

I’m guessing what ever games are on those Evercade releases are likely contenders - the licenses for them must be relatively easy to obtain if they got released in the last 6 months.

If they do releases in “volumes” like the first set of ten- I’d expect one Metal Slug and King of Fighters each set. It looks like (from this set at lease) they want as many genres as possible represented, but that may be hard eventually. I do hope they continue with the expensive games, that way if this dies off in a few years we will have most of those available.

No Visco games hurts, Breakers and Breakers Revenge are near the top of my list for fighting games on the Neo (just bought Revenge for the MVS, though, so I'm good). They not too recently released a Breakers "collection" on modern systems so they almost certainly won't be coming

That would mean no Ganryu either, a game that's almost impossible to get outside emulation.

And no Neo Drift Out, best racing game on the system

If NDO came out on AES+ I'd definitely buy a copy for 80 bucks, but if it doesn't because of the licensing, I won't be too disappointed.

The NGCD port is great, and has quick loading.

Unlike the NGCD of Over Top which is broken as fuck.
I'd have to go with the mvs version myself. But thats been slowly creeping over $300 recently so $90 would be a easier pill to swallow

I would be 100% mega shocked if they translated the Quiz games. Never paid them any mind until Alec's reviews and they actually seem interesting. Gave Quiz KOF a shot through emulation with a translation layer and it seemed like something I'd enjoy without a janky translation under normal game rules.

If you can get past the graphics, Rally Chase is actually a lot of fun.
I'm the biggest defender of that game, the only real issue with it is how stingy the game gets with replenishing your timer in between checkpoints through all the races. I haven't be able to clear MVS/AES with one credit yet, seems impossible. At least they fixed that on the Neo CD version.

if there's any third party software for this thing I'm betting all my chips on Visco, so many cheap ass rereleases of their stuff
Hoping. That would leave mainly Data East's games and Sunsoft's one game. Some high profile games in the Data East set but I'm not sure who owns the IPs since Data East and Sunsoft aren't really a thing anymore

At least Pixelheart has you covered for all the Visco stuff. And you might not even have to wait until November. Yes, it's expensive, but it's better than the situation with others like Nightmare in the Dark.

Would love to see Andro Dunos in wave 2. SNK vs Capcom will most likely be on the final wave.

NitD plays awesome on NGCD!

Personally, I don't think I'd bother picking up an "official" cart... but maybe the license is with SNK like Face's old stuff?

re: Data East title rights

Karnov, Street Hoop, and both Magical Drops were in recent ACA collections, so it seems like SNK-MBS has the ability to release those at least.

That leaves Spinmaster, Windjammers, and Ghostlop as question marks.

G-MODE owns the Data East IP.
A Miracle Adventure release would make some sense :)
