Horribru. my guess is he did it for free, for the "experience" etc. Lots of that going on these days from companies being cheap as fuck. God help them if they paid for that. You get what you pay for...

I’ve ran into guys like that in the local art scene and they’re always completely delusional idiots. They talk a bunch of shit about doing things outside the box and guerilla art this and changing the game that, art is my life etc. It‘s total bullshit and they’re just talentless imbeciles that like to hear themselves talk and think anyone who doesn’t take them seriously are haters or “don’t get it”. Unfortunately there are also people like that dipshit interviewer who are just as stupid as them and treat them like they were legitimate artists which just feeds the delusion. It’s fucking laughable.

Besides not having any fundamental skills or understanding of anatomy - he is also clearly lazy. The black and white character on flat colors - colors that have no real composition to them....ok [deep breath] I am letting this go. I wasn't gonna' buy this shitty plastic anyway.

In a world filled with art software and ipads and endless editing- to suck this bad and be so content with releasing garbage art speaks volumes. If i sat down with my GF’s ipad pro i could make something better than this and i can barely draw a stick penis.

As a father of a professional artist I totally agree with this. I can generally find something positive about any piece of art. When it isn't for me I can still see how it would be appealing to someone. I'm also at a total loss here. It's really bad.

As for $100 for art, etc. There are so many talented people who WOULD in fact do this for free, for exposure, etc and this artwork as an embarrassment to them.

All of my kids are on sketch-a-day (app) and literally submit a piece of artwork, every single day, just to share it with others - platform has thousands of daily users and easily 90% of these 20-minute sketches are more appealing and skilled than this. I'm rambling but am genuinely surprised this got approved by someone trying to make something for profit. Baffling.

That art by zander looks like trash to me still i will give credit to retrobit for the getting a license to reprint undeadline.If i can spare the money maybe i will order a copy.

I could make a better cover than this with my right hand. I'm not an artist, and I'm left-handed. This is literally one of the worst cover arts I have ever seen. I would have taken the absolute worst Sega Master System art over this.
