Unused KOF 94 Designs

Lol, some of these designs are cool, but many of them are just completely off the wall or dirivitive of popular animes of the time. I can visualize the conversation amongst the dev team now.

Boss: Let's see the concept art for the characters of our new game, King of Fighters
Workers: Here it is!
Boss: Most of these are unuseable. You'll need to start again from scratch.
Workers: We're not going to meet the deadline.
Boss: Keep moving forward, we need to get this out! Just put in characters from our existing games!

I love pre production art. It's always fascinating. Go look at MKII or SFII pre production art. Some of it is bonkers. Baraka was a human and Claw was a damn knight!

It’s always awesome to see concept art of your favorite games to get an idea of what could have been if they stuck to these designs and ideas. I think it was a great idea to get characters from different games with some original characters to KOF and it came out perfect
