Alright... let's see if any of you can recognize what could possibly have influenced the direction that Warriors Orochi for PS2 took vs a normal Dynasty Warriors title:
- rather than being a regular storyline title, it is a dream match that combines characters from multiple storylines that normally couldn't coexist
- in the dream match, you do not fight solo, but rather in 3-person teams
- Each character can be 1 of 3 ability types: power, speed, or technique.
- Team members can tag normally, or can tag during a DM to chain another DM
- The self-contained storyline for the dream match involves fighting against the Orochi threat.
- The first cutscene in the storyline that introduces Orochi shows purple flames descending from the heavens.
What the hell, did E. Kawasaki produce this thing?
