Double Dragon. Was the best arcade session I have had for years. An old friend of mine and I hit the local arcade, and after abandoning the attempt to play some awesome looking Gundam thing in a huge pod (they wanted 300 Yen first to buy some crap card in order to play the game, THEN 500 Yen for two credits in the cab), we then found some highly illegal looking cabs that had like 200 old game ROMs on them. My buddy spotted Double Dragon on the list so it had to be done. We beat it, and then I kicked his ass and got the girl. Good times.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that I was failing miserably at the Street Fighter-esque Sailor Moon fighting game for Super Famicom. I had to go and set the difficulty to 'gentle' in order to get anywhere. Maybe once I grasp the controls a little better, it'll be easier. Some of the special attacks are hard to pull off, let alone the supers.

Which one did you play, Super S or S? Super S was the second import game I ever got. Even if you think the game is made for little girls, it will kick your ass. Even when you set the difficulty settings down and power up your character before the fight, the game is still REALLY hard. Its not that SuperS isn't that bad, it has all the characters and a lot of background characters thrown in for good measure. Shame the Super S season was the worst one.
